To adhere to safety protocols and minimize the spread of the virus, restrictions on the number of spectators allowed in stadiums were been implemented. This led to a notable decrease in attendance, with matches often played in empty or partially filled stadiums. Clubs and fans had to adapt to this new reality, relying more on televised broadcasts and online streaming to follow the league. This situation has also posed financial challenges for clubs, as they depend on ticket sales and merchandise revenue to sustain their operations.
